Scheme management for ERPNext
Define a dealer scheme once: who qualifies, on which items, measured how, in which slabs. It applies on the order, accrues from invoices and settles by credit note.
- For
- Manufacturers that sell through distributors and dealers
- Runs on
- ERPNext
- Licence
- MIT
- Scheme
- Sales
- Slab reached
- Claim
- Credit note
The problem
Dealer schemes are run in spreadsheets: quantity slabs, targets, cash discounts, free goods. Payouts are worked out at quarter end, argued over and booked late, so the liability is never visible while the scheme runs.
What it does
How it works
- Pick a scheme type and set eligibility
Qualifying items, slabs and validity
Submit the scheme; on-invoice benefits apply as orders and invoices are made
- Accruals build up daily from invoices
And the provision is posted
- At period end
Settle the accruals as credit notes in one batch
What we built, and what is still open
- Built with automated tests for the slab and scheme engines
- Not built yetclaim-based schemes filed by dealers, points and loyalty, and TDS posting under section 194R
- Not yet running at a client
Works with
- ERPNext
