ERP for plants that track a roll, a batch or a box through seven stages

Bizmap implements ERPNext for manufacturers with 50 to 1,500 people: bathmats and home textiles, automotive pressings, intralogistics machinery and insulated reefer boxes so far. We model the BOM and routing your process needs, put QC gates where your quality head wants them, keep Tally where the accountants need it, and build the shop-floor entry so the data is real.

Challenges in manufacturing

We track every roll on paper between blending, casting, perforation, printing, slitting and packing.

Each stage as its own work order, a batch per roll with kg as the stock unit, item variants for GSM, width, type and print, and QR labels scanned at each terminal.

Our BOM has five levels and the costing never matches.

Multi-level BOMs with scrap reprocessing modelled as a reusable raw material; standard costing in phase 1, workstation hourly costing and OEE in phase 2.

Quality is a register somebody keeps.

Versioned inspection templates approved by the quality head, a QC gate on receipt with lab and machine sections, in-process checks, an outgoing inspection on the delivery note and a certificate of analysis printed per roll.

Accounts are on Tally and will stay there.

Opening balances migrate; where Tally stays for statutory accounts we sync invoices and receipts on a schedule.

The gate has no idea what is arriving.

A gate entry document mandatory on every goods receipt, weighbridge gross, tare and net with a tolerance warning, and a DGFT licence register for exporters.

Our dealers want to configure the product themselves.

A B2B portal with a real-time 3D parametric configurator, in five languages including right-to-left Arabic, feeding quotations into the ERP.

Why Bizmap here

Our consultants have written the BRD for a seven-stage film plant, a carpet mill with variable twisting routes and melange yarn chains, a machinery maker running seven modules, and a reefer-box builder that sells through a 3D configurator. We know where ERPNext manufacturing is standard, where it is configuration and where it needs a custom app, and we say so line by line before we quote.

FAQ

Four to eight months for a single plant with purchase, manufacturing, stock, accounts and sales, in phases: purchase and stock first, manufacturing second, sales and quality last. Standard reports in phase 1; costing, OEE and MRP in phase 2.

Yes. Terminals or tablets with QR scanning at each stage; roll and pack labels printed from the system. Operators see only their stage.

Usually one company with a unit accounting dimension, unless the units are separate legal entities with separate GSTINs. We decided exactly this for a two-unit film plant after the BRD workshops.

Yes, when it is in scope. We leave it out of phase 1 when the client does not do it, rather than configuring for a process that does not exist.
